Boiled Raisin Cake

Ingredients

Cream:


1 1/2 cup sugar


1/2 cup butter


Add


2 eggs


Sift


3 cups flour


2 tablespoons baking soda


1 tablespoon nutmeg


2 tablespoons cinnamon


Add


3 cups raisins which have been boiled 20 minutes in an uncovered vessell


1 cup of the water the raisins boiled in


Blend all ingredients well and pour into a greased and floured cake pan. Bake in slow oven until done.
